Full-time Headteacher required

Little Acorns is a small therapeutic residential school functioning as part of a wider unit, currently with 9 children on role, aged 5-11.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an educational team to support and promote the education of children who, because of severe emotional and early life traumas, need a specialist setting in order to access education.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience of teaching at Key Stages 1 & 2.
• An understanding of appraisal, target setting and the supervision of staff.
• The enthusiasm and ability to motivate and develop an existing staff team.
• The applicant will work as part of a senior management team with the opportunity to be creative and inspire others.

New school building at design stage.

Applications are welcome from teachers who are ready and willing to make the move into a headship role, having had previous senior experience.
