Referral & Assessment Team -

Social Workers will be responsible for providing a referral and assessment service, undertake initial and core assessments, carry a caseload and provide a duty service. This includes child protection assessments, court work and providing an initial service to children who become looked after.

Family Support & Child Protection Teams -

Social Workers will be responsible for working with children in need and their families, undertaking initial and core assessments, Undertaking child protection assessments, providing a service to children looked after who are placed with their families and undertaking court work.

Children Looked After Teams -

Provide a permanency care planning service for children looked after. Social workers are responsible for providing a quality service to looked after children, undertaking care planning to achieve permanency for children through rehabilitation home to family or placement for adoption or fostering. Social workers undertake assessment work and court work.
