The formation of Children, Schools and
Families in April 2001 brought Education and Social Services
teams under a single umbrella. Never before has a department
been designed from scratch with the interests of the child so
firmly at the centre of the process.
Our new approach is helping over 250,000 Hertfordshire children
attain the best possible levels of education, health and development.
