Salary: £34,775 – £39.904
Full time, 35 hours per week average, with some evening and weekend
work.
Based in Friends
House London.
Quaker
Life is looking for an enthusiastic trained youth work manager with
vision, to lead our work with Children and Young People so that
they may take a full active role in the life of the Society. Spirituality
and participation are key areas on which we want to build and develop
and the post holder will need to draw from their own spiritual and
professional experience for this work.
The
job involves responsibility for managing professional staff and
volunteers in furthering the work of the section by helping to ensure
safe and developmental opportunities for children and young people
through strategic planning, policy making, managing training, serving
the policy making committee, and organising and running events.
The
successful applicant will have experience of managing others, working
with volunteers and have had professional training in youth work
to complement the existing children’s work expertise in the
department.
