TRAVEL
BURSARY FUND
The
Social Education Trust Travel Bursaries are an integral part
of our commitment to sharing and extending good practice in residential
child care.
They
provide an opportunity for you, either as a young person who
is or has been in the public care or else as a member of staff
concerned with young people, to learn from the experience of
other countries and cultures. The aim is to stimulate discussion
about ideas and approaches to care in Britain.
Up
to 40 bursaries are available each year. If you think you can
learn from approaches overseas, especially in other European
countries, you should consider applying for one of our bursaries.
There is no closing date or financial limit. Each application
will be considered on its merits against the criteria for the
scheme.
