YOUTHWORKER
The
Barnes Team Ministry wishes to appoint a fulltime, professionally-qualified,
youthworker to lead its work with young people (11-18 year olds)
in the church and in the community. Barnes is an attractive and
diverse community of South-West London whose young people come from
a very broad socio-economic background. Our youth worker will split
her/his time between church and community work and will be comfortable
with ministry in a liberal catholic tradition and work in a secular
environment. He/she will lead church youth groups, worship with
young people, work with other organisations in the community and
be involved in detached youth work. This is a new post and will
suit someone with considerable initiative.
Salary

Time
For God Project Worker Post
We have been fortunate in obtaining a DfES - National Voluntary
Youth Organisation Grant and as a result are looking for a Project
Worker to raise the profile and participation of residential volunteering
by young adults and young offenders in England.
You may be aware that 2005 is the United Nations International Year
of the Volunteer and that the Russell Commission has this week reported
on its plans for youth volunteering in the UK. It is also Time For
God's 40th Anniversary year so you can see that this is a significant
time for volunteering in the UK.
Please would you make this post known to anyone you feel has the
right skills and expertise.
