The Barnes Team Ministry wishes to appoint a fulltime, professionally-qualified, youthworker to lead its work with young people (11-18 year olds) in the church and in the community. He/she will lead church youth groups, worship with young people, work with other organisations in the community and be involved in detached youth work. Time For God Project Worker Post

We have been fortunate in obtaining a DfES - National Voluntary Youth Organisation Grant and as a result are looking for a Project Worker to raise the profile and participation of residential volunteering by young adults and young offenders in England.

You may be aware that 2005 is the United Nations International Year of the Volunteer and that the Russell Commission has this week reported on its plans for youth volunteering in the UK. It is also Time For God's 40th Anniversary year so you can see that this is a significant time for volunteering in the UK.

Please would you make this post known to anyone you feel has the right skills and expertise.

Further information is available from the Time For God office. Contact details are below

Thank you.
