Action: ANCE France will report about results to the Federal Council in Budapest.

The PEP does not run very well. One of the reasons may be that there already are many exchanges between organisations where people get paid. The fact that PEP is on a voluntary base makes the programme less interesting. It was proposed that  links with other youth programmes should be sought, such as Erasmus or Socrates and that more people should be involved.

Action: Robert will prepare a paper about the current situation for Budapest.

The meeting in Bihac had a real FICE feeling. Essential for this feeling is that FICE brings people from different backgrounds together.

4.      Baltic (former USSR)

5.      Overview of situation concerning childcare / rights in Northern Africa

France / Belgium / Switzerland / Luxembourg

ANCE France

Because of his job Rolf Widmer is involved in a project about children’s rights in eight countries of Northern Africa; the project is for three years. At the same time he publicises FICE.

ANCE France has projects in Senegal and Algeria.

-          Create a model for the training of educators, to use in network of schools. FICE should produce it and sell it.

-          There were two congresses about the subject in Luxembourg. Start an ongoing discussion about children’s rights. Robert Soisson will write a paper about the project for FC in Budapest.

(Re)establishing FICE membership in these areas. Project Manager or Vice President to be identified.
