1. Members of FICE - BULGARIA

Dating from 4 April 2002 the members of FICE - BULGARIA are 74 physical and 12 juridical persons.
Dating from October 2001, the members of the physical persons who are members of the association increase of with 35 and the juridical persons -with 8. All members of FICE - BULGARIA represent organizations, engaged with the social sphere. Most of them are people, working with children in unequal social status, parentless children or those from the minorities. 28 of the members of the association are directors of childcare homes and have their contribution to the improvement of the childcare in Bulgaria.

2. Activities of the commissions of FICE - BULGARIA

" INFORMATION - METODICAL COMMISSION:
Till now this commission has produced and issued two edition of FICE - BULGARIA Bulletin. The first one was issued in November 2001 and was distributed among FICE members, specialized school and homes in Bulgaria, Ministry of Education and Social Ministry, some embassy's and large number of NGO's.

The second edition of the Bulletin was issued in March 2002 and was distributed the same way.

" PROJECT COMMISION:
This commission has consulted and applied for improvement towards donors 13 projects concerning Childcare. The project "How to be a good parent", submitted to MATRA CAP is now approved.
Project commission has organized and carried out a training under the theme "How to make a good project"
(1st and 2nd February 2002), visited by Dragica Zelibaba and Zdravko Krunich from FICE - South-eastern Europe.

3. Visits

" A visit of Theo Tobé in Sofia, on the occasion of realizing and control the project "Renovation of the child care in Bulgaria".
" A visit of Dasha Tashkova in Holland at the invitation of OJA and photo exhibition from Bulgaria entitled "Childcare in Bulgaria". Meeting with Theo Binendijk (president of FICE - INTER) and with Anton Tobé (President of FICE - Holland); discussions about the development of partner relations between Bulgarian and Holland organizations, dealing with children.
" A visit of Dragica Zelibaba and Zdravko Krunich, representatives of FICE - South-eastern Europe, of the on the occasion of the training "How to make a good project". Discussions with them are provided about a common initiative for summer holiday of Bulgarian and Serbian children.
" A visit of Rolf Vidmar on the occasion of the World Bank's projects for changing the system of the childcare in Bulgaria.

4. Future plans:

" To issue the Bulletin in May 2002(third edition)
" To carry out a second training "How to make a good project" in May 2002
" To invite a Holland directors about children home's visit in Bulgaria with the purpose of finding partnership institutions,
" To invite Anton Tobé in Sofia in June 2002
" To make a Commission composed by the directors of the childcare homes.
