Report of Vice President Since the Federal Council meeting at Bucharest in October 2001, I have been involved in the following FICE-International activities : 1 I participated in the Task Force meeting in Paris. This will be reported elsewhere on the agenda. 2 I also took part in the Executive Committee meeting, and assisted in drafting and editing documents. This too will be reported elsewhere on the agenda. 3 I have been involved in planning the FICE-Inter website, and by the time of the meeting in Budapest, it is hoped that it will be available in outline form on www.fice-inter.org . A paper is being presented elsewhere on the agenda, requesting the Council to take decisions on certain matters, and to support the development of the site. 4 I have continued to edit the webmag, www.children.uk.co . A sample week showed that the readership came from about 40 countries, and at the time of writing, it is receiving about 80,000 hits a month. Since we started publishing in January 2000, there have now been about 1,000,000 hits. The webmag regularly publishes material about FICE and articles by FICE members. Some of the papers presented at the Bucharest seminar, for example, have appeared, as well as a report of the event. More material is always wanted, and news, notifications of future events and articles will be welcome, including papers not in English. 5 I have assisted FICE-Netherlands with the editing of one of the books of papers given at the Congress at Maastricht in 2000. I understand that it will be published in the near future.
